Saving a claim on ClaimCat does not submit it. You must complete the official settlement process before the filing deadline.
Saving a claim does not file it
The Saved Claims feature is an organizational tool only. Saving a listing:
- Stores the claim identifier in the current browser
- Does not send any information to the settlement administrator
- Does not complete an official claim form
- Does not reserve eligibility
- Does not extend the filing deadline
- Does not guarantee a reminder or notification
- Does not sync across devices or browsers
To file, you must follow the official link from the listing and complete the administrator’s required process on the official settlement website. See How It Works for a full walkthrough.
Informational purposes only
ClaimCat listings and summaries are provided for general discovery and organizational purposes. A listing may summarize some or all of the following, depending on what is publicly available:
- Eligibility information
- Deadlines
- Proof requirements
- Payment or benefit information
- A link to the official settlement website
Summaries may be incomplete, delayed, or simplified. ClaimCat does not perform individualized review of your circumstances, and seeing a listing does not mean you are owed money or that you qualify.
No legal advice
ClaimCat is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using ClaimCat does not create an attorney-client relationship. Listing summaries are not a substitute for reviewing official settlement documents or, when appropriate, consulting a qualified attorney.
See the Terms of Use for the full scope of ClaimCat’s limitations.
ClaimCat is not a settlement administrator
ClaimCat cannot:
- Accept or process a personal claim
- Decide whether someone may qualify
- Review claimant documents
- Approve or reject a claim
- Change information on a submitted claim
- Check claim status
- Resolve missing-document issues
- Issue settlement payments
- Control administrator procedures or timelines
These tasks belong to the settlement administrator, court, or other authorized parties. ClaimCat is also not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by any settlement administrator, court, law firm, or government agency.
Official information controls
The controlling sources for any settlement include:
- Court-approved settlement notices
- Settlement agreements
- Court orders
- Official claim forms
- The settlement administrator's website
- Administrator instructions
If a ClaimCat listing differs from the official materials, rely on the official materials.
Official materials may be revised after ClaimCat imports or summarizes them. Not every listing is manually reviewed before publication.
No guarantee of eligibility, approval, or payment
Matching a brief eligibility summary does not prove that you qualify. The administrator may request additional information, and a claim may still be rejected. Court approval may be pending, settlement funds may be limited, and payment amounts may differ from any estimate shown.
ClaimCat does not guarantee:
- That you may qualify
- Claim approval
- A specific payment amount
- A payment date
- Any recovery
Deadlines and changing information
Settlement deadlines can be strict. A deadline may depend on online submission time, time zone, postmark date, supporting-document deadlines, court orders, or administrator updates. Always confirm the current deadline on the official settlement website and avoid waiting until the last day.
ClaimCat imports and refreshes settlement information regularly, but this does not mean every official change appears immediately. ClaimCat does not track whether any individual visitor has filed.
Estimated payments and benefits
Payment or benefit information displayed on ClaimCat may be an estimate, a maximum, a range, a tiered award, a reimbursement, a credit, a non-cash benefit, or subject to later calculation. Final amounts may depend on:
- The number of valid claims filed
- Available settlement funds
- Purchase or loss history
- Documentation provided
- Claim category or tier
- Administrator calculations
- Court approval
- Fees, costs, or other settlement terms
Estimates shown on ClaimCat are not guaranteed payouts.
External websites
ClaimCat links to official settlement websites, claim forms, administrator pages, court documents, and other public sources. ClaimCat does not control their content, availability, security, privacy practices, accessibility, or changes over time.
ClaimCat is not responsible for information you enter directly into an external claim form. Review the external site’s privacy policy and filing instructions before submitting personal information. A link to an external site does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Advertising
ClaimCat includes clearly labeled advertising placements. Current placements are reserved for Google AdSense integration. When advertisements are served, they will remain separate from settlement summaries and official claim links.
An advertisement is not a court notice or a message from a settlement administrator. Advertising does not determine eligibility, approval, or payment. Displaying an advertisement does not mean ClaimCat endorses the advertiser, product, or service.
